Gigi Lamp #4 Pendant Light
The Gigi lighting collection by French designers warren + laetitia consists of a series of colorful modular pendant lights, always composed of three interchangeable parts.
The Gigi lights are 3D printed in the Paris studio from recycled and recyclable plastic bottles and industrially compostable bioplastic made from corn starch (rPETG + PLA).
rPETG is a polymer derived from recycled plastic bottles. For 1 kg of rPETG, 79 plastic bottles are recycled. Objects 3D printed with rPETG can be recycled at least 5 to 6 times by going through the same process.
PLA is a bioplastic derived from corn starch, making it a natural alternative to polyethylene. It is referred to as bioplastic because PLA is made from natural raw materials, which makes it a recyclable, biodegradable, and industrially compostable material.
