NEW MODERN round table – recycled plastic Ash Pink

The NEW MODERN Round Table by Tiptoe with a table surface made of eco-certified wood is ideal as a dining table, kitchen table, or smaller meeting table for 4-6 people with its 110 cm diameter.
With NEW MODERN, the French company TIPTOE has developed a modular table system that, with its different sizes, shapes, and surfaces, can be flexibly used wherever we need a larger table: as a desk or meeting table, as a dining table, or in the kitchen. NEW MODERN can have tabletops in various sizes and shapes - from desks for one to XXL dining tables for up to 12 people.
A NEW MODERN table consists of two table legs made of powder-coated steel connected to a stable table frame with two stainless steel struts. The larger formats have one or two crossbars for additional stability.
As with all their furniture designs, TIPTOE also designed the NEW MODERN table system with a radical focus on sustainability, durability, functionality, and timelessness. The aim is always to develop products with the smallest possible impact on the environment in every step of production and life cycle.
The tabletop is recycled plastic made from hundreds of yogurt cups. The burst of colors, gold or silver, come from fragments of yogurts labels and lids, which gives clues about the plastic’s previous incarnation and makes each tabletop genuinely unique.
The table legs and cross braces are made of steel, an extremely durable and recyclable material (actually, steel is the most recycled material currently available). The goal is always to use as few components as possible – all of which are robust and, if necessary, easy to repair or replace. The delivery in flat packages keeps the environmental impact during transport and storage as small as possible. The packaging material consists of at least 80% recycled paper.
All steps of the TIPTOE productions take place in Europe. The table tops for the NEW MODERN tables are made in Poland, the table legs in Bulgaria, the stainless steel struts in Italy. All mechanical parts and small parts are manufactured in the family business in France, near Chamonix. Until they are ready for dispatch, the final assembly of the products is carried out in a French ESAT, a social institution where people with disabilities can work.
