Hot Pepper Cayenne long slim – Seeds
The cayenne pepper, also known as "guinea spice" or simply "red pepper" (especially in powder form), is a hot chili pepper that is used to season foods around the world. The name comes from the city of Cayenne, the capital of French Guiana, and originally comes from the Caribbean-Indian word "kian". Whatever the derivation, cayenne pepper has become synonymous with paprika today.
Cayenne is generally used in its ground form. Cayenne peppers have also long been used as an herbal supplement, mentioned as early as the 17th century in Nicholas Culpeper's book Complete Herbal.
